JTL224 [A1F025] checked in at 45,025 ft — technically above the standard commercial ceiling — hauling northeast at 532 kts. Consistent with a heavy business jet or something the Air Force would prefer we not ask about.
UAL102 [AAD3C9] transiting at 35,000 ft and 522 kts, heading 065° — the fastest positively identified commercial contact of the day.
SWA2587 [AC5AB7] was caught at only 1,425 ft doing 152 kts southwest of our position, likely on approach to CLE. Low but plausible for the corridor.
OLV421 [A50077] skimming along at 825 ft, 103 kts, heading 230°. Lowest contact of the day. Someone is very much enjoying the view.
ANOMALIES
EIN9WM [4CAE29]: ICAO hex 4CAE29 falls outside all known national allocation ranges. Routing northeast at 35,000 ft, 430 kts. Perfectly normal-looking flight profile for something we cannot formally identify. Noted.
Three UNKNOWN_HEX contacts appeared today — QTR1X, AMX680, and AVA255 — none with allocatable ICAO codes. All filed under "interesting" pending further information.
Foreign registrations: Six Canadian, four UK, and one Saudi Arabian aircraft transited the area. APZ135 [71C516], Saudi-registered, was at 39,000 ft. Standard enough, but worth the entry.
LOW_AND_FAST flags were triggered on N104HJ (228 kts / 2,225 ft), SKW5982 (240 kts / 2,625 ft), EJA851 (242 kts / 2,950 ft), and UAL2636 (210 kts / 2,075 ft). All merit a second look if they reappear.
